As with all of our birds, our mission is to provide the highest quality hand reared and socialized baby chicks, at competitive prices and to give our valued customers our personal assurances of first class back up support for your bird, coupled with the highest level of business integrity.

All babies are fed a balanced diet including: egg, fresh fruit, fresh veggies, cooked rice, pasta, beans, cooked veggies, pellets and seed and other healthy people food.

We use our own handfeeding mix that we are using with great success.
  • All baby birds are hand fed starting from 10 - 14 days after hatching.
  • All birds are socialized starting from 2 weeks of age
    (this includes being exposed to dogs, cats, children, people, given kisses etc) this ensures a good mannered and well adjusted bird at adoption time.
  • All baby birds are exposed to noises and experiences pet store birds never do (eg: vacuum cleaners, telephones, food processors, door bells, television, radio etc.). This ensures that the bird will not be afraid of most household sounds associated with a normal home.
Availability of our babies depends on eggs being laid and hatching. If you are looking for a special species of “feathered Friend”, email us and if we don’t have the babies available, we will put your name in our expectant parents list, with no obligation on your part.We will then follow up via email regarding the status of the egg, and/or baby bird. We encourage you to visit often during the time of your “Feathered Friend’s” weaning period.
